- I believe that the government spends too much money fighting the war on drugs (such as marijuana) when they should be focusing on more drastic issues.
- I believe that television shows such as "South Park" can subject children to inappropriate matters at such a young age.
- I believe that the illegal downloading of music can greatly damage the music industry and your wallet in the long run.
- I believe that social networking websites such as Facebook are delving away from their primary purpose originally established and for the wrong reasons.
- I believe that music programs within public schools should be required (not optional) for younger children.
3. The music industry has drastically changed in the past couple of decades. It is now easier than ever to find your favorite artists and the songs they write, but at what price? Music sales have plummeted from 1990 through 2010 due to the illegal downloading of songs and albums. Many artists are angered by the subject matter and have eagerly expressed their thoughts publicly. As newer and newer technology arises, it has become easy for more people to find their favorite songs for no price whatsoever. But it all has a ripple effect because that $1.29 iTunes fee that you DON'T pay is just added to the ticket price when you see them in concert.
